SSIF Assets Reach JD 9.6 billion and Comprehensive Income Increases to JD 297 million at the End of March 2018

Social Security Investment Fund (SSIF) said that the Fund's performance has been strong with total assets reaching JD 9.68 billion as of 31/03/2018, an increase of JD 443 million representing a %5 increase compared to JD 9.23 billion as of 31/12/2017.
The Fund also realized an income of JD 129.6 million, an increase of JD 6.4 million or 5.2%, compared to JD 123.2 million as of 31/3/2017.
The comprehensive income amounted to JD 297.2 million as of 31/3/2018, compared to JD 249.4 million as of 31/3/2017. The Fund illustrated that the comprehensive income consists of the income (generated from the return on investment in the Fund’s various investments in money market instruments, bonds, loans, financial leases, public and private equity, real estate, and dividends), in addition to the revaluation of the Fund's strategic equity portfolio that is based on the performance of Amman Stock Exchange .
